    Pat Rauch

    As our seasoned veteran, Pat has seen it all in his 30+ years as a bike mechanic and ski tuner. He has been mechanically oriented from a young age, working on cars and started at the shop building bike wheels, becoming a bike mechanic and eventually maintaining every piece of tuning equipment in one way or another. Pat has been in the Gunnison Valley since childhood and started at Crested Butte Sports in 1992. He is an avid outdoorsman and car restorer.

    Danny is the jack of all trades around the shop. He is an expert ski tuner and bike mechanic while also keeping the ordering, supplies, and rental shop running in top form. Danny has been with CB Sports for 15 years and can help you get the perfect setup for both the dirt or the snow. He enjoys the Crested Butte trifecta of Mountain Biking, Fly Fishing, and of course Skiing in the winter. He grew up skiing in So. Lake Tahoe. Danny put his own spin on the “I went to Western and never left” but instead attended for just one semester and finished up an Environmental Science degree from Humboldt and then moved back to the Gunnison Valley in 2002.

    Connor is a lifelong skier, getting started at 2 years old in Minnesota and then getting big mountain experience in Steamboat Springs throughout his childhood. During high school in Minnesota he began working at Gear West Alpine getting early experience with the technical side of the ski industry. Connor has been at CB Sports since 2017 and has a love for being in the ski shop, even during the crazy peak holiday times.     Kole has grown up in gear shops, working at his family shop, Hill’s Sports Shop, in Amarillo, TX starting in just the 7th grade learning the ropes of the outdoor retail world. His childhood was filled with trips to New Mexico to ski Taos and Angel Fire. He has been in the Gunnison Valley since 2015 with many visits before then. Along with his lifelong experience in gear shops, Kole has been boot fitting since 2013 and has received numerous certs along the way.
